own and operate the following entities:

  • S-Cubed Human Capital and Payroll Software.
  • My Life Group Holdings, Registration Number: 2020/097068/07 hereafter referred to as MyLife.

MyLife is engaged in the business of software development that provides tools to clients to assist them to take control of managing and organising their life in terms of social, emotional, and financial wellbeing. MyLife has developed the following software:

  • The MyLife website, https://mylife.co.za, hereafter referred to as “the platform”
  • The MyLife Android and IOS apps hereafter referred to as “the app”

All data, information, and content that is stored, contained, and / or displayed by the platform and / or the app will hereafter be referred to as “the data”

The platform is a webpage with electronic online links to products and/or services.

The app is an extension of the platform that is designed to run on a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet. The Android and IOS versions are available in the Google Play Store and Apple Inc App Store respectively.

The data is intended but not guaranteed to be complete, correct, and up to date. The data is made available without any representation or warranty, either expressed or implied. MyLife accepts no responsibility for the suitability or accuracy of the data, nor any errors or omissions in the data. The data is subject to change without notice.

MyLife may, in its sole discretion, at any time suspend or terminate the operation of the platform, the app, or any products or services provided. We accept no liability whatsoever for any loss, whether direct, indirect, or consequential arising from the data made available or omitted by the platform/app, and for any actions or transactions resulting therefrom.

Any product or service reflected on the platform/app is subject to the terms and conditions found in the relevant Provider Policy Documents and Voucher Terms and Conditions.

MyLife does not provide any advice. It is your responsibility to ensure that any product or service applied for is suitable to your needs.

Copyright in respect of all work found on the platform/app, and which have been created and developed by MyLife or on instruction for us shall vest in MyLife.

Any reference to or use of a product, service or process of a third party does not imply recommendation, approval or affiliation to the product, service or process by MyLife.

You must be 18 years or older to make use of the platform/app.


To the extent that you purchase any product or service through the platform/app that requires payroll deductions, you must authorise your employer to make the necessary payroll deductions from your remuneration in terms of the terms and conditions of the respective product or service.


Unless stated otherwise in writing the products or services offered through this platform do not contain any premium or rate guarantees. Such premiums and rates may change from time to time in line with provider offerings.


4.1 Terms Applicable to Clients:

To the extent that you purchase a subscription where you can redeem vouchers and offers through the platform/app the following terms and conditions apply:

4.1.1  The voucher cannot be exchanged for any other products, cash or credit.

4.1.2  Each voucher can only be used once.

4.1.3  Only one gift voucher can be redeemed at a time.

4.1.4  No responsibility will be accepted for lost, damaged or stolen gift vouchers, and such gift vouchers shall not be refunded or replaced.

4.1.5  Gift vouchers are only valid for 12 months or as specified on the voucher. No request for extension will be accepted.

4.1.6  If the total amount of the purchase is more than the value of the voucher, immediate payment of the balance will be required at the time of purchase.

4.1.7  Should MyLife and or affiliated members or merchants suspect any fraud relating to a voucher, we may refuse to honour the voucher until we are satisfied that no fraud has occurred.

4.1.8  The management reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions herein without prior notice.

4.1.9  Errors and omissions accepted.

4.1.10  The voucher expiration date will be the end date of the subscription or the voucher end date whichever applies first.

4.1.11   In case of dispute, the business owner has right of refusal.

4.1.12  Special conditions indicated on the voucher will apply and take preference.


4.2  Terms Applicable to Suppliers:

The supplier agrees to offer the following:

4.2.1  MyLife reserves the right to determine the final list of supplier offers as well as the final design, layout, and grouping/categories for subscriptions.

4.2.2  The supplier undertakes to honour all vouchers presented to them by clients, subject to the voucher terms and conditions offered through the App and specific terms and conditions stipulated by the supplier to the use of the voucher.

4.2.3  The supplier undertakes not to unnecessarily inflate the ordinary costs of any promotional item to account for the voucher value.

4.2.4  Due to limited space and MyLife’s objective to offer real value, we require complete exclusivity with each voucher offer.

4.2.5  MyLife has indemnified themselves in so far as MyLife cannot be held liable for any failure on the part of the supplier in honouring the voucher.


You will, going forward advise providers of any changes which could have an effect on the premium or rate category applicable to you on any products you have taken up through the platform/app including, but not necessarily limited to, change in occupation, change in income or change in smoker status.


You waive any rights you may have or may obtain against MyLife arising directly or indirectly from any loss or damage of whatsoever nature which you may suffer as a result of the fact that you use any form of orders or communication in MyLife, and you indemnify MyLife against all and any claims, liabilities, losses, costs, fines, damages and expenses, arising as a result of the fact that you placed any orders through the platform/app.


On approved cover in terms of The Retirement Funds Act, the trustees can override your beneficiary nomination taking into account anyone who is financially dependent on you and you should take this into account when nominating beneficiaries.


The advertising of third party products and services via the platform/app merely constitutes an invitation by us for you to apply for such product or service. MyLife and/or any of our service providers reserve the right to decline your application for any reason whatsoever


When applying for products or services from service providers and third parties you agree that we may transmit related information, in respect of your request by e-mail, or secure data infrastructure, using the information available to us or provided by you during the application process. You hereby agree that we may send you electronic communications relating to your profile from time to time, provided that you will be given the opportunity to cancel your subscription to our mailing list at any time upon providing us with written notification to that effect.


In applying for any product or service on this platform you consent to the collection, collation, processing, storage and disclosure of relevant personal information for the purpose relating to the product or service and to enable MyLife and related third party provider to advise you of or offer to you any enhanced benefits or new products which become available from time to time which you may become entitled to or qualify for as a profile holder, provided that this consent may be withdrawn if you request such withdrawal. We will not sell, offer for sale or dispose of or attempt to dispose of or create or allow the encumbrance over your data held by us.

We will not disclose any of your personal information or data, other than provided for in the Privacy Notice and the Terms and Conditions.

We will ensure that personal information or data obtained from you is processed for only the express purpose for which it was obtained.

We endeavour to implement all reasonable technical and organisational measures in place to protect your personal data from unauthorised access and/or use including implementing measures to ensure access to your personal data remains secure, confidential and exclusively attributable to authorised MyLife staff operating within strict guidelines.

We will notify you of any actual or suspected breach of security measures.

We record that you retain ownership of your data at all times in terms of information and files generated in fulfilment of MyLife’s obligations. It remains your responsibility to ensure your information is correct and up to date.

We confirm that we have the appropriate technical and organisational measures in place to safeguard the security, integrity and authenticity of your personal information being processed. At a minimum, these measures, where applicable, include controls related to the following:

  • Physical and electronic information security risk management;
  • Physical and systems based identity and access management;
  • IT asset management, including mobile devices;
  • Intrusion detection or prevention systems to assess and manage risks related to malicious attacks against systems or data; and
  • Managed system development, testing and maintenance.

When you use the platform/app, we ask you to choose a password. Your password for the platform and the app will be the same. You are responsible for protecting your password. Do not disclose this information to third parties. You irrevocably agree not to hold MyLife liable for loss or damages of any nature that you may suffer as a result of the unauthorised use of your password.


Our Privacy Notice applies only to personal information collected through our platform/app. Our platform/app may contain links to other websites. While we try to link only to websites that share our high standards and respect for privacy, we are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices employed by other websites or service providers. We encourage you to read the Privacy Notice for any website that requests personal information from you.


We may periodically conduct online customer surveys. When we conduct a survey, we will inform you how the information gathered will be used and we will give you the opportunity to opt-out from such surveys.


You warrant that all the information provided by you in terms of any application for any product or service will form the basis of any contract between you and the third party provider.
